JOB FUNCTIONS
Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings, both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications....
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects on assigned projects.
Liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of a propose project, including constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact
Effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and parties.
Working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists.
Writing and presenting report & proposal
Making sure that the project is running according to schedule and budget.
Accountable for the quality of service and profitability on assigned projects.
Travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.
Perform assignments independently with instructions as to the general result expected, and with guidance from department manager and/or architectural/engineering specialists on unusual or complex problems.

The candidate must be able to
Demonstrate a knowledge of the application of architectural/engineering to facility constructability as applied to construction methods and materials, and the economics involved.
Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel MS Project.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques and costs.
Demonstrate practical knowledge in general architectural practice, including programming, site planning, civil, structutural engineering etc
QUALIFICATION
Completion of five or six years architectural degree program.
Three or more years of progressive experience in all phases of architecture and substantial experience in the design of large scale projects at international standards.
